Po příchodu na Karasuno však Hinata zjistí, že Kageyama také odešel na Karasuno. Zpočátku si nerozumějí, ale nakonec vytvoří podivnou kombinaci a bojují spolu s ostatními členy volejbalového klubu. Karasuno se při tréninkovém zápase znovu setkává s bývalou konkurenční školou, Nekomskou střední, a znovu se rozhoří jejich školní rivalita.

The newly rejuvenated Karasuno fights Aoba Johsai High and seeks to have the same outcome as their first practice match.

After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
