Sacha va aussi rencontrer d'autres dresseurs avec qui il partagera ses aventures. Lors de son voyage dans plusieurs régions, il va devoir continuer à progresser pour découvrir de nouveaux Pokémon et peut-être les capturer. Et avec ces derniers comme amis, il va aussi devoir affronter des groupes de bandits, surtout la Team Rocket. Mais il va aussi faire face à d'autres personnes malintentionnées. Heureusement, Sacha peut compter sur ses amis pour l'aider. Ensemble et parfois avec d'autres personnages en plus, la grande quête leur réservera bien des surprises...
