Scarfs & bandanas
A hidden treasure! A scarf or bandana can add elegance or edgyness, depending on the style and way you wear it. You can match it to your overall outfit, and can keep you protected from wind and weather. Play with different colours and patterns to elevate your overall look!

Unique bags
Perfect main character energy! A bag you choose can say a lot about yourself to others. There are so many different sizes, materials and styles when it comes to bags. And you can customize it with patches, pins, chains and prints. Everyone should have a bag that represents themselves.

Customized shoelaces
Another statement piece! Whether the shoelaces themselves or the things you put on them, they can show your personality. Try shoelaces in different colours and lacing patterns, and add a variety of beads and charms on them. So special!

Knee-high socks
One of my favourite accesoiries! They keep your legs warm and look super cute. Combine them with skirts or shorts, and a pair of shoes of your choice, they can be sneakers, boots, heels, or loafers. Knee-high socks come in a variety of colours and patterns, so have fun experimenting <3

Colorful & patterned tights
An extraordinary way to give more dimension into your outfits. Any pattern can be cute, from colourful stripes, to classy lace and net patterns, to playful flower designs. Wear them under your skirts or ripped jeans to elevate your aesthetic.

Matching nails!
I love matching my nails to my outfit, especially the colour. I collected so many bottles of nail polish over the years, so itโs a self-care ritual to paint them after showering. Whilst I personally can only have short nails (piano and guitar player here hehehe), you can also go to a salon to get your nails done professionally. A cute detail!

Event & festival bracelets
Another type of bracelets I absolutely adore! I have so many event bracelets on my wrist from times I went on holiday, from events I had the honour of being invited to, and even pride parades. With these, you can present your personal interests and memories, an easy way to start a conversation.

Friendship bracelets
This charming diy should be a skill of every stylish person. I made so many diy friendship bracelets over the years, already as a little child, and now, itโs the perfect activity for events. I wear a lot of bracelets on my wrist, because they remind me of the amazing aquaintances I made on my way.

Suspenders!!!
I love a cute pair of suspenders! They not only keep your sligthly too big pants up, they also add a working-class, yet classy look to your pants and skirts. Another staple piece that should be findable in every closet.

Add a belt!
Belts can add another layer of depth to your overall outfit, and highlight your waist. There are all different kinds of belts from a variety of materials and styles, - from leather or from fabric, in black, brown, or colorful, and with spikes and intricate buckles. A belt can change the whole vibe of an outfit with just one accessoire.

Vintage brooch
I love a good brooch, - I inherited a lot of different ones from my grandmother and my great-grandmother, which I like to pin to my hat, shirt or bag. Also something I like to search for in thrift stores, - maybe they have a secret history to hideโฆ

Lots of necklaces!!!
Another thing you can layer are necklaces. Gold, silver, pearls, crystals, charms, try different lenghts and materials such as leather or metal bands, this way you can create your own standout piece.

Dangly earrings
When I am on holiday, I always look out for self-made jewellery on local markets. Thatโs where I get most of my more exquisite earrings from. Charms, crystals and rhinestones all in different shapes and colours now dangle from my ears - cute and an easy and cheap way to highlight your personal style.

Bold eyeliner
I never skip my makeup routine without adding some eyeliner - and match it to my outfit. Donโt hesitate, try something colorful and glittery from time to time, if you had enough of black or brown. Iโve received my fair share of compliments from my bold eyeliner looks, from friends to teachers, to even politians. A personal favourite!

Antique hats
A long forgotten necessity, hats can give a whole new vibe to your overall outfit. I own a vintage newsboy cap, very cute, and I also found an antique classy hat.

Layering!!!!
Layering clothes is a total game-changer to elevate your personal style. Shirts under sweaters and vests, cardigans draped over your shoulders, shorts and skirts over tights, cute jackets and coats to round up your outfit - there are endless possibilities!
