Karelian hot pot
Traditional meat stew with mostly potatoes, meat, carrot and black pepper. It has came from Karelia region and it used to be our national food
Karelian pies
Traditional pastie made in Karelia region in 1600-1700. It has a rye base and it's usually filled with rice or potato "puree" kinda. The rice is better imo!!!

Civil flag
The civil flag of Finland is used by civils to represent their country. Use of the flag started in 1918. White color on the flag represent the snow, blue represents the sky and the numerous lakes of finland. The cross represents christianity, the main religion here, and connection to other Nordic countries that have a similar cross on their flags.

Juhannus/midsummer
Midsummer (juhannus in Finnish) is a traditional party thrown to celebrate it being the longest day of the year and overall life and summer. Usual midsummer traditions in Finland are either making or going to town to watch a bonfire, going to your cottage, making flower wreaths, going to the sauna and midsummer magics!
