Frugal chic 🍸✨🖤
One of my New Year’s resolutions was to be more conscious of my spending and make better investments. So I’m learning to style items I already own, only buy clothes made with natural fibers, no impulse buying. This is not only for clothes, but also building a lifestyle around being financially responsible while remaining chic. Here are some tips I found recently that I find helpful in my journey. ✨

Be okay with being called “boring”
Not that you have to be but you stick to a routine that works for you, you have statement outfits that you like to wear, you prepare the same meals.

Prioritize value over price
Being frugal ≠ being cheap. If you want something that is nice (high quality, high craftsmanship) buy it once instead of buying the cheaper version multiple times. You’ll save money in the long run by doing this (I learned it the hard way after seeing my finances from last year)

Being able to financially plan
Sit down once a month and look at your finances. How much did you spend? Where can you make cuts? What is your financial goal for the next month? How much did you put into investments/savings?

Staying busy
Shopping isn’t my only entertainment. I have a job that I love, hobbies, exercise I enjoy, a fiance, friends and family I lake to make plans with

Creating a capsule wardrobe
I already know my style and my color season, so I’m sticking to basic pieces that I can style and wear often
