The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
the colors, the atmosphere, the outfits. the grand budapest would be so comfy to stay at. also mendel’s desserts look so good oh my god.

Paddington (2014)
the brown’s home is so beautiful and cozy. i would chill in london with a polite talking bear no questions asked.

It (2017)
listen, i am well aware people go missing in derry like six times the national average and there’s a killer clown or something. but i would give anything to ride my bike around with the losers club in the late 80’s.

Mamma Mia! (2008)
greece is so gorgeous. the water is so clear and sparkly, i look at it once in this film and all my problems are suddenly gone. it might be an unpopular opinion, but i would live in a place where everyone breaks out into a rendition of an abba song at random times
A spirited young bride-to-be living with her single mother on a small Greek island secretly invites three of her mother's ex-boyfriends in hope of finding her biological father to walk her down the aisle.

Barbie (2023)
i think a trip to barbieland would fix me. it seems so safe. i love women.

Serenity (2005)
arguably a horrible place to live but my god firefly’s found family is amazing. i wouldn’t mind being a space cowboy criminal if i got to hang out with them

Over the Garden Wall (2014)
admittedly terrifying but also oddly comforting. autumn brings me so much joy. i would thrive in pottsfield, just saying

Wizard of Oz (1939)
little me wanted to be dorothy gale so bad, despite the fact that she gets thrown around and hunted the whole movie. living in post-wicked witch oz would be amazing actually.

Lord of the Rings (2001)
i want nothing more than to be a hobbit getting his second breakfast. living in the shire would be so amazing. i would literally never complain about anything ever again.

Empire Records (1995)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. i want to work at empire records so bad (i would do literally anything other than my job). a.j., lucas, and i would get along so well fyi.

Stand by Me (1986)
wandering through the woods with your best friends and pretending you’re on a mission only to realize that you’re nothing more than a kid who’s scared of growing up. i can get behind that. not the walking into water with leech’s part though, ew.

Dazed and Confused (1993)
pure vibes. local high school kids get out of school for the summer and spend a whole night driving, talking, and screwing around all while contemplating who they are. and then they go get aerosmith tickets at the end. when is it my turn?
