Luigi's Mansion 3
Nintendo Switch · Nintendo Switch 2 The third games from the Luigi’s Mansion IP. Instead of a mansion, the game takes place in a hotel. Players rise up each floor, complete puzzles and defeat its floor-specific bosses. The poltergust provides a range of uses, from exploration to combat and it’s genuinely quite fun to suck and slam ‘em ghosts. The graphics are also a a massive upgrade from the 2nd.
Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them.

Persona 4 Golden
PC (Microsoft Windows) This game has the best set of characters and development of social links in the big 3. Although the story is not its strongest, its interesting and comforting dynamic of the characters compensate for its low stakes and urgency as a result of diverting its focus on the character arcs. Regardless, the story is quite solid, maintaining its core theme throughout the game.
A coming of age story that sets the protagonist and his friends on a journey kickstarted by a chain of serial murders. Now available on modern platforms, the world-renowned Persona 4 Golden promises unforgettable adventures, meaningful bonds, and heartwarming experiences.

Hades II

Hades
Nintendo Switch · Nintendo Switch 2 Although the core mechanic of rougelike games is to push through the same dungeon and battle the same enemies to victory, this game does a great job of taking advantage of this, deepening its storytelling by adding dialogue and character interactions unique to every run. The combat itself deserves a praise for its smooth optimization and fun boon combinations.

Slay the Princess
Linux · Mac · PC (Microsoft Windows)
You're here to slay the princess. Don't believe her lies. Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.

Cupid Parasite
Nintendo Switch

In order to help these five hopeless men find true love, Lynette and her team concoct the perfect matchmaking plan… REALITY TV. Will Lynette be able to live up to her name as top bridal advisor and Cupid, or will her dreams get cancelled?

Little Goody Two Shoes
PC (Microsoft Windows) The best aspect of the game lies in its gorgeous aesthetic that is reminiscent of the 90s Shoujo anime style. From its characters to its environment, never once it felt dull. I’m a sucker for horror that is masked as cute and charming. The time system sets an interesting game dynamic, morning for chores and romance, and night in time for the witching hour.
Little Goody Two Shoes is an tactical narrative RPG that tells the story of Elise, an ambitious girl stuck in a village too small for her big dreams. In this village of Kieferberg you’ll have to work toward your main goal - hiding an innocent witch from the merciless villagers. Lies, deception, strategic choices and treachery! In this bizarre fairy tale all choices matter in order to protect your reputation and get what you truly desire. All means justify the end, or do they?

Super Mario Odyssey
Nintendo Switch · Nintendo Switch 2 Provided one of the best region designs, interesting and unique to each of the respective areas. Not only in aesthetics, but puzzles are also uniquely novel. The underworld region was by far my favorite area to explore. Lots of flexibility and versatility in combat. Cappy as a combat mechanic also enables players to play as a 2 person co-op.
Explore incredible places far from the Mushroom Kingdom as you join Mario and his new ally Cappy on a massive, globe-trotting 3D adventure. Use amazing new abilities, like the power to capture and control objects, animals, and enemies to collect Power Moons so you can power up the Odyssey airship and save Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding plans!
