Chunking

1-take one topic and break it up 2- study the little chunks with other methods

1-learn the topic 2-teach it to someone else (or pretend to) 3-go over what you didn’t understand

Idk why but it works. Just do it lol

Getting the vibe

I have different coloured pens and different playlists for each subject which helps me get into the vibe of a subject faster, helping me to concentrate faster.

Environment variations

Studying in a different environment every now and then really helps concentration

Fake deadlines

Making earlier, fake deadlines makes sure your procrastinating doesn’t get too dangerous (trust me, I’ve been there too)

Make your podcast

Record yourself explaining a concept as if you were the teacher and then listen to it later. Really fun too :)

Pomodoro

Even if you feel like you could study for longer, taking short breaks at regular intervals will increase your stamina

Note-taking

I take rough notes from the textbook before class, then fill in the details during the lessons (sounds like more work, is actually less). Later I highlight everything I don’t know and make my flashcards based off of that :)

Flashcards

For all terms, but not concepts. I like doing them in rounds, always repeating those I didn‘t know one more time than the others.
