habits

Step out of your comfort zone at least once a day
It takes 3 weeks to build up a new habit. Why can’t we normalise stepping out of our comfort zones then? Start challenging yourself by doing at least one thing everyday that usually takes an extra amount of courage to you. Whether it’s jumping the rope for 5 minutes straight, or cooking that risky recipe, just do it. It doesn’t really matter if you fail, the win consists in the fact that you TRIED & gained knowledge by doing it.

Stop being materialistic
The sooner you realize living a wealthy life doesn’t mean owning lots of signature items, but having experienced deep, real & constructive emotions, the better you live. You’ll end up dying alone with the memory of your life, & you won’t be able to use that expensive stuff anymore. Choose wisely.

Be curious
Never cease to satisfy the curiosity of your inner child, search that info on the web, ask that random person in the street whatever captured your attention, follow that masterclass you always wanted to attend. Live once without regretting being curious about the unknown.

Invest into your knowledge
Nobody can take away from us our brain potential & our knowledge: read, learn a new skill, get out of your comfort zone to build a stronger version of your willpower. Remember that knowledge = power.

Stop smoking AND drinking
Ok, I know this is probably the hardest one. But please, replace the instant gratification of nicotine & alcohol with something constructive in order to gratify you in another way. Cook a healthy meal, read a book, tidy up your spaces (rearrange them if needed), work out, go out for a walk, chat with a friend about a deep topic. Distinguish yourself from that dumb crowd lacking self respect, TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH.

Put effort in looking better
We tend to unconsciously pay more attention to well dressed & good-looking people because they are automatically more attractive to us.

Spend a few hours a day (a week) in nature
Whatever involves nature is known to raise our levels of dopamine & serotonin. Don’t be lazy & make those daily 8k steps climbing hills, attend that yoga lesson in the park.

Practice gratitude constantly
Something that helped me overcoming tough times was constantly being grateful for both the positive & the negative things that happened to me. We only live once, & we should be aware that many other people are facing harder times out there.

Stay Hydrated
Stay Hydrated**: - Proper hydration is essential for performance and recovery. Dr. Huberman highlights the importance of drinking enough water and maintaining electrolyte balance, especially during intense workouts.

Sleep
Prioritize Sleep for Recovery**: - Both Dr. Huberman and Dr. Norton emphasize the importance of sleep for muscle recovery, hormone regulation, and overall performance. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night.
