Sometimes I take melatonin or magnesium glycinate to improve my sleep if I feel like I have not been sleeping well for a couple of days

12. Put on a sleep mask
I’m a very light sleeper and any changes in the lighting at night will wake me up. With a sleeping mask I don’t notice them and can sleep peacefully through the night

11. Use loop earplugs
I have the Quiet 2 and it improved so much my quality of sleep (not an add, I genuinely love them and I’m thinking of buying the Dream earplugs)

10. Listen to a short meditation
Helps me reflect about my day and quiet my mind

9. Use a melatonin, lavender and chamomile spray on my pillow
I use this one from Dr Teal’s, I also use the sleep balm

8. Read for 15 to 30 minutes
Helps my get away from my phone or the tv. Also great to relax your mind

7. Make myself a cup of tea
Chamomile, lavender, valerian or tillo tea at my go-to

3. Use my fave pj’s
I choose my pj depending on the season

6. Out my hair in a protective hair style
I usually do a loose braid or bun

5. Do my skin care
I like to do it about an hour before going to sleep just so everything absorbs into my skin

4. Brush my teeth and wash my face
Feeling extra clean before bed

2. Blow dry and oil my hair
Can’t go to sleep with wet hair. I also use a hair oil to hydrate it

1. Shower at night
After a long day a shower at night helps me relax
